La Grande Promenade (Walking the City)
A collaborative project blending dance, patrimoine and exploration of the neighbourhood
La Grande promenade (Walking the City) is a collaborative art project led by shifts – art in movement in the Old Town district of Le Havre as part of the program Contrat de ville blending dance, patrimoine, and exploration of the neighborhood.
Developed through meetings and interviews with residents and community stakeholders throughout the autumn, this project will culminate in a festive and unifying walk through the district, punctuated by dance performances inspired by stories collected from residents and users of the neighborhood and interpreted by the shifts artistic team.
The aim: to share personal stories through movement, connect generations and neighborhoods, and create a powerful moment of solidarity and collective creativity.
