Caroline Allaire is born in Nice in 1977, Caroline Allaire studied dance in the "Conservatoire de Nice," and in the "Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris". In 1995 she joined the Ballet de l'Opéra de Nice, for 2 years. Then, in the Ballet de l'Opéra du Rhin for 5 years she danced ballet pieces like "Giselle" and "Swan Lake", and works from choreographers such as George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Maurice Béjart. She worked with Lucinda Child, Michel Kelemenis, Claude Brumachon, since 2004, as free-lance dancer, with Félix Ruckert (Berlin), Louis Ziegler (Strasbourg), l'Association Woo (Lyon), Christian and François Ben-Haïm (Paris) and l'association KHZ-Vidal Bini (Berlin). She also pursues her research with Kirstie Simson. For shifts Caroline performs in "rencontres" and takes part in the project "counting"
Vidal Bini is born in France. He studied in the Paris Opera School and in the Superior Conservatory of Paris (CNSMDP). He joined the Ballet de l’Opéra du Rhin in 2000 and became a free lance artist in 2003, joining the Felix Ruckert company, le Grand Jeu (Louis Ziegler), and lately the Association WOO. Vidal collaborates with Robert Clark, Malgven Gerbes, David Brandstätter and Marika Rizzi, among others, as a dancer, and sometimes as musician or as video maker, and deepens his work towards improvisation with Kirstie Simson. He founded in 2006 the KHZ company. For s h i f t s Vidal performs in "rencontres" and takes part in the project "counting".
I-Fen Lin enrolled in classical ballet at the Chinese Culture University (Taiwan ) and her modern dance education at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen (Germany ). She was company member of the Capitol Dance Company Taipei and the Harry Yu Dance Company of the National theater Taipei. In Europe she danced for choreographers like Rainer Behr, Uwe Marszan, Alberto Huertes, David Brandstätter, Malgven Gerves, Mateja Bucar Association DUM Ljubljana, Chun-Hsien Wu and is member of Rodolpho Leoni Dance since 2000, who created a solo evening for her in 2008. She was also choreografic assistant for Leoni's production with the Folkwang Tanzstudio „if and only if“. For s h i f t s IFen performs in "rencontres" and takes part in the project "counting"
Gill Viandier studied architecture at the school of architecture of Bretagne. He studied dance at the CCN of Rennes under the direction of Catherine Diverres and at the CCN of Montpellier under the direction of Mathilde Monnier. He gets a master in performing arts from the Paul Valéry University in 2003. He is then dancer for Jackie Taffanel, Michèle Murray, Didier Théron, Florence Saul, Hélène Cathala, Emmanuelle Vo Dinh, Philippe Saire and Georges Appaix. He also collaborated for occasional projects as assistant director, translator, scenograph. For s h i f t s Gill takes part in the project "counting".
Johanna Chemnitz studied Modern and Contemporary Dance at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, Danceacademy Arnhem (NL) 2000-2004. She´s been living in Berlin since 2004 and has worked with artists like Jens van Daele, Eszter Gàl, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Trisha Brown within the scope of Documenta12, AlexB, Mans Erlandson, Half Machine Copenhagen, Cie. Salon Sauvage, Maren Witte and Nir De Volff/TOTAL BRUTAL. She has created her own works, “Festland“ together with Palina Krause, the solo piece „Tief.Schwarz.“, photographic art and the short films „Stolzenhagen Princes No. 1, 2 and 3“  with the artists Anne Sophie Malmberg and Annika Nilsson and the duet "DISHEVELLED" together with Sonja Pregrad. Stève Paulet was during 10 years, animator for popular and youth education.
He starts dancing in 2000 with an education at EPSE danse and at the CCN of Montpellier, where he obtains a state diploma in contemporary dance in 2003.
He practices improvisation with the collectif Boustrophédon and choreograph within the Cie "à pas suspendus". He is today dancer for the Cie Les Gens d'Uterpan. in Paris He also danced for the Cie Amalgame, Florence Saul, Michèle Murray, Patrice Barthès, Young Ho Nam, Emmanuelle Santos, Eva Wandest, la Cie La Zouze, Malgven Gerbes and David Brandstaetter among others. He participated to some video works as performer together with Fiorenza Menini, Florence Bernarde and the Cie Didier Théron. For s h i f t s Steve  takes part in the project "counting"
Sybiile Müller is a dancer and choreographer living in Berlin. She studied dance at  Rotterdams Dansacademy (RDA) form 1995-2000. 2005 she received a grand for the danceWeb-program in Wienna. Besides her own works she has collaborated with Eva Meyer-Keller, Laurent Dailleau and Florian Bach and performed in projects of deufert&plischke, Colette Sadler, Martin Nachbar, Samir Akika and TWO FiSH. She studies social and business communications at the Universität der Künste in Berlin.
Hermann Heisig born in 1981 in Leipzig, where he began to get interested in contemporary dance, improvisation and performance art. After his studies in Berlin and  Montpellier he worked with Martin Nachbar, Meg Stuart, Martine Pisani and Corinna Harfouch. His latest works have been PONGO LAND (2008 with Nuno Lucas) WHAT COMES UP/ MUST GO UP (2009 together with Irina Müller und Nuno Lucas ) and THEMSELVES ALREADY HOP! (2009) shown in Spielart München.
Elpida Orfanidou studied dance and choreografy in Athens, in Arnheim / ArtEZ Institute, au Centre Chorégraphique of Montpellier and at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Her studies in Foreign Countries has been financed by the national bursary foundation of Greece and 2009 she recieived  the DanceWEB  bursary. Since September 2009 Elpida lives in Berlin and worked with Hermann Heisig, Mahela Rostek, Martin Creed, Tim Etchells and Meg Stuart.

Jou Odorujoui is a japanese freelance contemporary dancer and choreographer based in east Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from the Ohio University school of dance in the US in 1999. She worked with Duet company and Taro dance company in Malaysia from 1993 until 1995. Among many performances she danced in 1998 & 1999 at the Ohio dance festival, 2003 & 2004 at Yokohama solo duo dance collection, in 2008 at Seoul international choreography festival she wins the Special Prize for foreign choreographers. She performed recently her own work in India and France. Jou collaborates with s h i f t s  for "Eulogy to the Shade "and the actual project Counting.
Niannian Zhou was born in Guangzhou, China. She studied dance in Guangdong dance school. In 1994 she became the member of Guangdong Modern Dance Company and worked for six years. Then she came to Germany and studied in Folkwang dance school in Essen as a guest student. Now she lives in Berlin. She was award the scholarship from Asian Culture Council to America and has worked with Shen Wei Dance Arts in New York, Rubato Dance Company in Berlin and Ji Xin Dance Company in Shanghai. She now choreograph own works and dances for Sasha Waltz in Berlin. For s h i f t s Niannian takes part in the project "counting".
Makoto Matsushima 1964 Born in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. 1986 Graduates from Japan University College of Arts, Visual Communication Design Course. Since 1983 Makoto Matsushima (Tokyo) is the core member of internationally acclaimed Japanese dance theatre company PAPPA TARAHUMARA. Alongside touring with the company regularly worldwide, he started making his own choreographies, solo pieces and collaborations. He channels playfully between visual art, object design, dance, music, voice art and theatre. He has developed a very original movement/voice art strongly influenced by Aikido, Iai, Kendo, Tai-chi and other Asian martial and chanting arts. Makoto has helped us in the creation of "eulogy to the shade"
Eva Maria Küpfer grew up in Zurich, studied dance and choreography in Paris and at ArtEZ in Arnhem, Netherlands. Eva Maria dances for Malgven Gerbes and David Brandstätter at fabrik Potsdam, for Christine Knecht at Tanzhaus NRW, Düsseldorf and in several other performances. She is a scholarship recipient of danceweb for the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna 2007. In January 2007 she won the first prize at the Budapest Solo and Duet Festival in a choreography of Saga Sigurdardottir. She lives and works in Zurich. For s h i f t s Eva performs in "rencontres".
Simone Truong studied in ArtEZ Arnhem in dance and choreography. She created seven pieces (solos and working groups), presented in The Nederlands, Belgique, France, Spain, Switzerland, China. She danced for Magpie cie in Amsterdam and for Gisela Rocha in Zurich. She lives and works in Zurich. For s h i f t s Simone performs in "rencontres".
Pedro Rosa
Ixchel Mendoza Hernandez born in Mexico 1983. She started her career in Mexico City in the National Art Centre and continued in Holland with the speciality in Choreography at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Arnhem, where she graduated. She was selected for the scholarship of the ImpulsTanz Festival in Vienna. In the last four years she had created 5 pieces and participated in several project as dancer. She is living in Berlin.For s h i f t s Ixchel performs in "rencontres".
